The Healing Spring Within
Puukenga/Our Areas of Expertise
We are not your average therapeutic service. We take an alternative stance to how we approach therapy as we are trained in specialised areas with a diverse range of life experience, education, training, natural abilities, strengths and skills. Our abundance of life experience is what makes us a relational service, we believe that you are the expert of your journey and we reflect back to you all that you are capable of in this life.
Mauri & Restorative Therapy
We are specialised and trained in Mauri/Maori Therapy which is restorative and reintegrative by nature. Our approach stems from a Maaori counselling/Mauri Therapy background steeped in Wairuatanga.
REAL Education
We both have qualifications and experience in adult education, programme planning & facilitation We also believe that life skills education is vitally important for empowerment & growth. Real Education stands for Re Empowering, Authentic and liberational. We recognize that people are born to learn grow and thrive through self-knowledge.
Spiritual guidance, leadership & Pastoral Care
Spirituality and wairuatanga are very important to us. We have both experienced the benefits of being in tune and connected with nature and the creative power that flows through all of life. One of our aims here at TPW is to help people reconnect to their spiritual self and to realize their divine roots.
Wholistic Life Coaching
We are both passionate about wholistic health & living a whole lifestyle. Paula is a trained professional coach and Hemi is a mentor.
Wholistic Therapies
We suggest a range of wholistic therapies and incorporate some of these into our work. We have a vast knowledg base and suggest only those things we have tried and experienced ourselves.
Personal Advocacy, Consultancy & cultural Support
Due to our knowledge, background and social services experiences in various settings, we are able to provide advocacy, consultancy and cultural support to those who are in need of tautoko, awhi and manaakitanga during these hard times
